The Emmy's.....

My 5 Best & 5 Worst Dressed at The Emmy's

Hi Beauties!

Last night Hollywoods finest came out for The 65th Emmy Awards held in Los Angeles.

The full coverage was shown on E! entertainment, one of my favourite channels.... As you can guess there were some well dressed & not so well dressed.

I've picked my top 10 from the Red Carpet- 5 best & 5 worst.

My Five Best Dressed

Giuliana Rancic in Mikael D-
I love  this dress, the colour, style, beading & mermaid fishtail. It suits her very well & is my favourite gown of the Emmy's.

Anna Gunn in Ramona Keveza-

The black and white contrast looks fantastic and goes
well with her makeup and tousled hair.
                                           Simple accessories complete the look.

Sofia Vergara in Vera Wang-

This is probably my second favourite, the colour & style again suit Sofia's figure fantastically, she has the perfect hourglass shape!

Kerry Washington in Marchesa-

A very pretty & feminine look is fresh off the Runway from New York fashion week. A cream & white ensemble featuring lots of flower appliques & gold undertones looks amazing on Kerry.

Julie Bowen in Zac Posen-

Arriving in this very light pink trumpet style gown stunned onlookers. Paired with a beautiful bangle & clutch bag, the outfit was completed with stunning makeup.

My 5 Worst Dressed

Lily Rabe in Vionnet-

This white and lilac gown with leather panels & asymmetrical skirt was ranked high up there with the worst outfits. Lily is very pale and this washes her out even more. Also I think the vamp lip colour was too dark for the outfit.

Lena Dunham in Prada-
Awful! Is the only word for this... her hair, makeup & dress are just terrible. The cut of the dress does nothing for her shape & I really think her hairdresser could have done something a bit more glamourous with her locks!

Cat Deeley in Armani-

A sparkling black gown would have been perfect for Cat Deeley if it wasn't for the hips, the dress is backless also and think it would have looked a lot more elegant without the cutout midriff too.

 Claire Danes in Armani Prive-

Claires makeup & hair looked fab, but this dress was way to pale for her skin tone. A very low cut neckline also showed a lot more than desired.

Jessica Pare in Oscar De La Renta-

I just don't like this dress in general, the colour is quite pretty but the raised section at the front just looks silly.

And lastly and most importantly, my favourite Makeup of The Emmy's would definetly be Malin Akerman.
She has been given a beautiful glow, with sultry eyes & a berry coloured lip, a big trend this season.

More exciting posts to come, so make sure you follow!
